Where is my order?

Depending on where you live, your shipment will arrive in 3-14 days from the time it leaves our warehouse. If you live internationally, your package needs to go through US customs as well as your country’s own customs. UPS does not give us shipping information after a shipment makes it to the destination country. If you have shipping questions after the package arrives in your country, please contact your local carrier.

Charged Essentials Wireless Car Charger:

What phones are compatible?

Our wireless car charger works with Samsung Galaxy S9 / S9+, S8 / S8+, S7 / S7 Edge, S6 / S6 Edge / S6 Edge+, Note 8, Note 5. And Apple iPhone X, iPhone 8 / 8+, and all other Qi enabled devices.

How fast does it charge?

Our tests averaged a 40% faster charge than the nominal charge rate for traditionally charging phones. For optimal power, we suggest plugging the USB into a cigarette charging port.

Why isn’t the charger working?

Your charger needs to be plugged into a USB port for it to work. If it’s plugged in and not working, your specific car model isn’t providing enough power to generate a charge. Try plugging the USB into a cigarette charging port; it provides more power.

If that doesn’t address the issue, it’s probably because the wireless waves are not reaching your phone because your case is too large. If you have a pop socket or large phone case (like Otterbox Defender,) remove the case and your charger will work.

If your charger is still not working, please make sure that your phone has Qi wireless capabilities.

Isn’t the charger supposed to be wireless?

Your charger needs to be plugged into a USB port to work. Wireless charging is up to 40% faster than a regular charge, so it takes a considerate amount of energy to charge your phone. Currently, we have no knowledge of any wireless charger that doesn’t need a power source.

How do I mount my charger?

Using the vent mount: Drop the plastic ring over the cylinder end of the mount. Push the cylinder into the back of the charger until it clicks. Screw the plastic ring until it’s snug against the charger. Press the clip (at the end of the arm) hard enough until the clamps open, attach to desired vent, and release. (Because the clamps are designed for your phone’s safety, they can be tough to squeeze, so ensure you’re providing ample force.)

Using the windshield/dash mount: Make sure the surface (whether on your dash or windshield,) you’re attaching the charger to is clean and dry. Drop the plastic ring over the cylinder end of the mount. Push the cylinder into the back of the charger until it clicks. Screw the plastic ring towards the charger until it’s snug. Remove the plastic covering the suction mount, place the mount, and click the switch down (towards the suction).

Where should I mount my charger?

It’s personal preference! You should mount the charger wherever it feels most naturally comfortable to you. Some people prefer it centered in the car, attached to a vent. Others like it higher on the windshield to the left of the steering wheel. Because mounting and un-mounting is easy, you can always test out a few spots until you find one that works best for you.

What are the charger's dimensions?

The base of the charger measures 63mm across at the top, and 57mm at the bottom. When the arms and gravity foot-bed are fully extended, the max length is 150mm, and the max width is 91.5mm. From the back of the base to the edge of the security arms, the thickness of the charger measures 32mm. (All measurements are approximate.)

Will the charger overheat?

Our chargers were designed with induction overheating protection, and your charger will not overheat from charging. Also, compatible phones will shut down before they overheat. Having said that, wireless charging is made possible by induction, which does produce some heat. If you’re using your phone’s navigation system while charging, you risk your phone shutting down due to excessive heat. Please do not expose it to open flames or extreme heat.
